Scott,

I started ringtones 6 weeks ago and my profit/loss is up and down. I’m profiting for Aug. and broke even in July. I have not been slapped by google and get GREAT QS on most of my keywords.

I won’t tell you guys exactly how i do that but I could show an example to those that ask.

@Edgar: Google wants to see unique content on your website and more importantly, wants to see that your website looks like an actual site and not just a middle man. It’s all about providing the least number of steps from search to buy for the customer. The point of having a (Wordpress) blog on the back-end is to not only create the site characteristics that Google likes but to also provide updated content so that you can get indexed for the keywords you’re bidding on and get free leads.

Yes, using keywords in your domain name is just better all around. For instance, if you can do 50cent.boxingringtones.com, it’s just going to look better in searches and the belief is that Google will be happier with it when someone searches for ‘50 cent ringtones.’

Hi Scott,

I have a question in regards to your reply,
I do have a blog that is related to my ringtone niche but, how would that help me
In regards to traffic, Google will spider my blog content and not my landing page sending traffic to my blog.

For example my ringtone site is BoxingRingtones.com and my boxing blog is MyBoxingFans.com Should I combine both of them?

Some one also told me is best to display a domain name related to my niche or use the keywords in my domain is this true?

I really appreciate your help.

I just launch my first ringtone landing page , but I keep getting slap by google adwords.

They want the landing page to say the the Terms and the prices of the subscription.

Can any one give me some tips to increase my leads

@Geiger: Yup but they’re basically just sitting ducks. No incoming traffic to them. I was thinking of doing some creative marketing on the content network side.

A lot of people bailed out of the ring tones market. Google’s quality score changes and stricter guidelines from the ringtone companies (along with the lawsuits) is probably what did it. Do you have ringtone sites out there still?
