VidTutorial's YouTube PageIf you've never heard of this, you should take the time to learn. Sometime at the beginning of this year, someone (perhaps Shoemoney) wrote about the untapped video-advertising market on YouTube. Well, to this day, I still haven't seen a lot of people taking advantage of the fact that videos can be seen by hundreds and thousands of people.

Take, for example, my videos on YouTube. I go by the screen name 'vidtutorial' and you can find my videos posted here. One thing you'll notice probably right away is that each video has been viewed at least 2,000 times. Another thing you'll notice if you actually take the time to watch the videos is that I have the URL of my "tutorials" blog plastered at the bottom right throughout the entirety of each video.

Instantly, you probably got my gist here. If you provide something useful to the YouTube community, they will be interested in other things you have to offer. So the moral of the story is to take advantage of this fact and use free services like YouTube to build name recognition but to also increase viewer-ship of your websites.

Sorry, the one tutorial I haven't done yet is how to create videos for YouTube, which is somewhat ironic but none the less, you'll have to take some time to learn this skill on your own. I will tell you that I use Camtasia by TechSmith to record and render my videos for YouTube.

And, as always, fill your blogs/websites with affiliate products tastefully but never forget to do so. I'm guilty of not doing so from time to time, but it is truly irresponsible not to try to make money any way you can. ;)
